This amazing pouf is hand woven by Berber women in the Middle Atlas of Morocco made of vegetable silk, also known as sabra or cactus silk and are definitely one of a kind! The spiky leaves from Saharan agave cacti are harvested, hammered and then soaked to release the fine fibers. The fibers are then hand spun using traditional processes to make cactus silk. The silk is then combined with camels wool and hand-woven on a loom to produce the finished product. Practical as a booster seat, footrest or square ottoman!
All our products are handmade and may have slight imperfections, which make them even more beautiful and charming.
